At her highest weight of over 700 pounds, with diabetese and an addiction to food, Ruby Gettinger determined that she would begin her personal journey to health through exercise and healthy eating.  Ruby began videotaping her journey simply as a personal record of her progress and as self motivation.  She never dreamed the private recordings would lead to a reality TV show watched by millions worldwide.

 

Emmy-nominated Ruby became The Style Network's highest rated television program motivating countless fans to begin their own journeys, overcoming obesity and other issues.  For many, Ruby was a weekly 'appointment' for the entire family to enjoy wholesome entertainment together, an uplifting program with lots of humor and inspiration.

Ruby has appeared on faith-based television and radio, including CBN and FamilyNet, as well as women's conferences, sports banquets, and church services.  She boldly proclaims her faith and shares her personal journey of faith and health in order to inspire others and point them to Jesus Christ.
